Introduction to the Electricity Industry (IEI)

Delegates attending this course will learn about the fundamentals of the electricity industry. The course will cover what electricity is, different generation methods and how electricity is transmitted. In addition, delegates will be provided with an overview of the structure of the power industry in key worldwide areas, such as North America, Europe and Australia.

Who Should Attend

Delegates would include anyone who is a new recruit or support staff in the power industry; service suppliers to the power industry or anyone who wants to gain an overview of the worldwide electricity industry.

Prerequisites: As this is an introductory course, there are no prerequisites.

As part of our blended learning package, this workshop has a specific web-based course which is recommended as pre-classroom study. Upon registering for the workshop delegates will receive details of how to access the web-based course. Access to the web-based course is included in the price of the classroom course.
