The Oxford Princeton Programme Announces Aromatics Business Course to Debut in Mumbai, India (November 2008)

PRINCETON, NJ - May 2008: The Oxford Princeton Programme, the world's leading provider of education and training solutions to the energy, commodity and derivatives industries, is pleased to announce, for the first time in India, its intensive and interactive three-day workshop open to all professionals:

The Aromatics Business - Markets and Economics
3-5 November 2008
Mumbai

This course is designed to cover the technology, economics and markets for aromatics used in the chemical industry. It will explain the relationship of aromatics to the gasoline pool both in terms of availability and value, and discuss the approach to forecasting the prices of aromatics. New developments in the aromatics business will be discussed including the US Clean Air Act, and new routes to aromatic such as Cyclar and Aromax.

"India's emerging importance in the global energy landscape, along with that of Mumbai as its commercial center, makes it an ideal location to hold what we intend to be the first of many more courses to come," says Jobert E. Abueva, Global Marketing Director, The Oxford Princeton Programme. "We are committed to offering India and the Sub-continent Region cutting-edge learning whether it be upstream, mid-stream or downstream."

Delegates encouraged to attend include managers, planners, business development, and commercial and marketing supply personnel from both established petrochemical producers and new entrants in the aromatics business. In addition, marketing and trading staff from the refining and gasoline industry will benefit, as well as logistics or support staffs are urged to attend. The course will also be of practical use to downstream consumers and derivative manufacturers.
