The Oxford Princeton Programme Announces Record Number of Public Courses for 2007 Dedicated to the Canadian Energy Sector
PRINCETON, NJ - December, 2006:
The Oxford Princeton Programme, the world's leading provider of training

successful series of course offerings in 2006 with even more in 2007 to meet the
growing demand for a cutting-edge Canada-based curriculum that gives delegates a

2007 public courses will amount to 26 training days to be held in convenient
downtown venues and to cater to professionals across a variety of functions and
levels of experience.

The following are public courses confirmed to come to Calgary during the first
quarter of 2007:
- Fundamentals of Energy Futures, 23 January 2007
This course allows for an in-depth training day covering the world of futures
and all its nuances with the busy professional in mind. Delegates become instant
traders via a fast-paced trading simulation and delve into futures contracts and
markets for various energy commodities including oil, gas and electricity.
Delegates can receive 8 CPE credits.
- Options I - Fundamentals of Energy Options, 24 January 2007
Although the introductory futures and options courses are stand-alone offerings,
after "Fundamentals of Energy Futures" delegates may seek further enrichment and
this course fits the bill, perfect for any professional with a desire to sharpen
skills on futures terminology and trading. Topics include premium valuation and
advanced trading strategies on exchange traded options, specifically those
related to energy commodities. Delegates can receive 8 CPE credits.
- Energy Risk Management, 25-26 January 2007
Limitation of price risk exposure is a difficult concept. Imagine if one is able
to maximize hedging efficiencies and limit price risk. In this two-day workshop,
delegates create a portfolio of industry techniques and apply them to four
unique case studies developed by leading risk managers. This programme covers
various energy commodities, including oil and gas and also provides an in-depth
understanding of hedging. Delegates are awarded 16 CPE credits.
- Front to Back Office: Trading Controls and Best Practices, 27 March 2007
International and domestic commodity professionals can advance their knowledge
and skill set with this one-day workshop that covers proven controls used in
commodity trading activities. Delegates immediately apply these trading
techniques through hands-on case studies. Recent trading "failures" are also
analyzed. Delegates are awarded 8 CPE credits.
- Value-at-Risk: The Basics and Beyond, 28 March 2007
Understanding Value-at-Risk is essential for measuring and controlling market
risk. Suitable for traders, support staff, risk managers, and senior
management, this one-day workshop analyzes the best ways to maximize
profitability and minimize costly mistakes; an asset to all professionals who
understand its use. Delegates are awarded 8 CPE credits.
- Credit Risk Management, 29 March, 2007
An even more in-depth look into risk management, this course is designed for
delegates with an understanding of the basic principles of credit risk
management or for those who have just completed the web-based training course
"Introduction to Credit Risk Management." The workshop introduces credit-risk
derivatives and discusses their functionality on a daily management basis.
Delegates depart the one-day course with a portfolio of industry techniques for
evaluating, measuring, monitoring, and managing credit risk. Delegates are
awarded 8 CPE credits.
