The Oxford Princeton Programme Hires David Ford;
New Faculty Member Brings Extensive Energy Training Expertise
PRINCETON, NJ - October, 2006:
The Oxford Princeton Programme is pleased to announce the latest addition to its
renowned faculty of international energy experts. David Ford, a leading-energy
training consultant based in Surrey, England, will lead courses within the
Trading, Derivative, Hedging and Risk Management curriculum, as well as consult
on the creation of new courses.
"I'm looking forward to being part of the largest provider of energy training in
the world," says Mr. Ford. "I intend to use my knowledge of diverse markets to
expand The Oxford Princeton Programme's breadth and depth of offering."
Mr. Ford has been involved in the energy industry for the past nine years,
during which he was responsible for all in-house training at the IPE (now known
as Intercontinental Exchange (ICE)), an electronic marketplace for energy
trading and price discovery. He has also lectured for the City of London
Business School, International Air Transport Association and most recently in
Russia, Kazakhstan and China on subjects such as energy market overview and
crude oil trading. As a former broker, Mr. Ford has provided risk management
services to a broad client base and has written books on futures and options as
well as contributed articles to a number of national newspapers.
Mr. Ford's course agenda with The Oxford Princeton Programme will include, but
is not limited to,
Fundamentals of Technical Analysis,
Fundamentals of Energy Futures,
Options I - Fundamentals of Energy Options, and
Energy Risk Management.
