This month brings about March Madness in America, when college basketball teams vie for the national title. The level of excitement is not unlike when major football games take place in South America, Europe, Africa or Asia.
Here at The Oxford Princeton Programme, we're experiencing a March Madness of our own with no fewer than 25 instructor-led courses taking place worldwide. We have Petrochemical and Natural Gas courses in Oxford; Oil Trading seminars in Cape Town; Futures, Options and other advanced hedging and risk management classes in Calgary, Houston, Los Angeles, Singapore, and London. If you're in search of some "just in time" training, look no further! Click here.
We shall also be present at major conferences in Prague, Banff and Dubai.
Yes, we're thinking globally and acting locally. But it's also neat to claim that everyday, someone, somewhere, is harnessing the energy of training with us, unleashing their potential, and making their mark in the marketplace.
Best regards,
Jobert Abueva

Steve Moralee joined The Oxford Princeton Programme in November 2006, after serving as Brand Manager for The Midcounties Co-operative where he marketed several business categories including food, travel, motors and pharmacy. In his short time with us, Steve has already made a marked difference in reaching out to clients, both emerging and established.
What is the role of the Business Development Manager?
In my eyes, the primary role of the Business Development Manager is to listen! Listen to our clients, understand their needs and look at innovative ways to cater for such needs. My initial focus has been on lead generation, connecting with both past and brand new accounts, and identifying potential avenues for strengthening the curriculum.
What do you find most challenging about your position?
Learning about our extensive range of training options. Whether it is our diverse menu of instructor-led courses, our upgraded web based training or our ability to tailor programmes to meet the specific needs of our clients. It has been paramount for me to understand what we have available in our 'Tool Box' to ensure that when I am speaking with clients I am able to offer professional first class service.
Going forward, the challenge for me will undoubtedly be supporting the team and meeting the needs of a dynamic energy industry.
What do you find most rewarding about your position?
For me, it's simple: the delegates. I am privileged to meet a number of delegates who attend both our Oxford and London courses. The face to face interaction makes me realise what it means to each of them to attend one of our courses. The rapport that you build, the insight that you have into their lives and world and them, yours, is invaluable. It is most rewarding when you hear the simple words 'thank you'. It is at this point I realise that our training courses make a difference to individuals in optimising their own potential, and in turn, that of their respective businesses.
What goals have you set for 2007, both personally and for your team?
To continue to build relationships with our clients by listening, learning and understanding their needs. Also to explore potential avenues within the 'green energy' sector; what do our clients need and what support and expertise can we provide them with? |

It seems like yesterday that we published our inaugural edition of The Oxford Princeton Pipeline, and here we are in March with the promise of warmer weather wherever winter continues to show its force.
Our Singapore office has opened, we are booking venues for courses in Australia, and I just received word that I need to make my way up to Banff, AB. Our vision for a more global year is well underway.
I would like to hear from all of you. How are we doing? What would you like to see in The Pipeline? So send an email, some snail mail, or give us a ring!
